Delivery in schools

The NPCC Child Centred Policing framework requires all police staff delivering inputs in schools to have training. In response to this expectation and also requests from staff, we are working with South Devon college to produce a one-day course for staff working with young people, either by providing inputs in schools, or by regularly leading cadet sessions.

The training will be held on 14 October 2022 at South Devon College, Paignton campus.

This session is open to all staff working with young people, but due to the number of available places, we will be prioritising staff in the following roles:

  • Youth Intervention officer
  • Youth Missing Officer
  • Youth Engagement officer

EU Funding

As this training is being funded by the EU, you will notice in the registration below, that you will be expected to show your passport as proof of identification. This is mandatory and we will do this by holding two online sessions (Teams meetings) where an overview of the training will be provided and you will be asked to present your passport. On the registration form below, please select which of the registration settings you are able to attend.
