Many of the key travel milestones (e.g. walking to school, travelling without adult supervision) take place during primary school, so PSHE education plays an important role in incident prevention for this age group — supporting pupils to learn the necessary knowledge and skills to assess risk and keep themselves safe in these contexts.
Produced in partnership with the Environment Agency, both lessons in the pack provide an age-appropriate understanding of potential hazards, how to manage emergency situations and keep safe.
